ABOUT OUR RUGBY CLUB

The Campbelltown Harlequin Rugby Football Club was formed in 1972 by several rugby buffs at the local pub “Lacks Hotel”. Over the years the club has competed in both the Sydney and Illawarra competitions with varying levels of success. The Harlequins will celebrate its 50th year in 2022 with a series of functions being planned.

After competing in Illawarra in the early years, the Quins moved to Sydney Subdistricts from 1977-1988 & then returned to Illawarra in '89. The Quins become one of the leading clubs during 90's but moved again to Suburban Rugby in 2003. With varying success over the ensuring years changing factors prompted yet another move back to Illawarra in 2015 where the Club continues to be a strong force in all grades.
