2ND GRADE WIN GRAND FINAL

The Harlequin 2nd Grade side has defeated Minor Premiers Shoalhaven at WIN Stadium, 34-15 in a dominant all round performance. Shoalhaven scored a converted try early, but gradually the Quins gained ascendancy & although behind 7-10 at half time, were well in the contest.

The Quins powered their way through the second half on the back of a dominant scrum, powerful forwards and big hard running backs to lead 34-10 with seconds remaining, only for the opposition to score on the final whistle.

It was a fitting way to end another difficult season for the Harlequin Rugby Club on our 50th Year.

The Women's team also WON their Grand Final at the same venue, in defeating a combined team in convincing fashion 33-0.
